- Cognitive
psychology is established in the 1970s
- In
1981, Donald Norman identified the topic of emotion as
one of 12 major challenges to cognitive science
- Three
authors decided to collaborate in an attempt to explore
the extent to which cognitve psychology could be a viable
foundation for the analysis of emotions.
Andrew ORTONY , Gerald L. CLORE and Allan
COLINS
- In
1988, they published "The
Cognitive Structure of Emotion",
in which they explain the emotion system provided.
