A Farewell Message

After six incredible years of hard (and not so hard) labor, I finally obtained my Ph.D. degree. It is a great sensation of relief, but at the same time, a nostalgic feeling for the things that were done to make this project successful. And, even though ISRST will suffer from this event, I am truly convinced that it will not die as an idea. It is my sincere hope that ISRST may encourage other researchers to follow the vision proposed here to give their storytelling applications a new and fresh approach in their interaction with users.

I just wanted to express my thanks to Prof. Mitsuru Ishizuka (University of Tokyo) and Prof. Helmut Prendinger (National Institute of Informatics - Japan) for their extremely valuable advice, to all the people in my lab who contributed to this project, and to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Technology of Japan (文部科学省) for its economic support during all these years.

And last, but not least, to everybody out there who took part of their precious time to test this application. Thanks guys and girls.

God bless you all and see you soon with more ISRST!
